The Scholar identified a need to develop a culture of supportive supervision as training alone wasn’t achieving the desired outcomes.  The Scholar developed a series of tailored strategies to identify and reach undervaccinated and unvaccinated persons and to regularly and systematically build capacity in vaccinators and district managers. The Ministry of Health was in agreement with his plan and implemented the GRISP plan resulting in an improvement in the coverage and quality of services. In areas where measles coverage had been steady at 52% for two decades, coverage is now at 80%
